Float fishing, laying on, touch legering, free lining, centre pins?  At Casting For Gold, this is what we are all about, plus - of course - tench fishing at dawn, chub and barbel fishing, pike in the winter and perch through the autumn. It's not just the fishing. You'll be staying in beautiful period houses, enjoying good food and, especially, the company of like-minded anglers. On these trips you will catch more fish; you will make friends; store up memories and be bursting to come back for more. Casting For Gold is all about relishing the Norfolk experience. Much of the county remains rural, unspoilt and still breath-takingly beautiful. You'll find lakes where there's no traffic noise, where the only footsteps along the banks are your own. Big fish? Well, indeed. The waters we'll be visiting have produced pike to nearly 40 pounds, barbel to 15 pounds, chub to 7, tench of over 8, rudd of perhaps 4 pounds and so on.
But it's not necessarily big fish that we're about. We are more concerned with interesting fish, beautiful fish and fishing for them in interesting, mobile, tactile ways. Casting For Gold believes there are are many people out there that want more from their fishing than bivvies, bed chairs, boilies and bolt rigs.
